How to Make the Olympics Snack Mix
- First make the Mini Olympic Torches: Melt enough candy coating according to package directions to have about ⅓ cup of melted candy coating.
- Dip the large end of a Bugle in melted candy coating then immediately in red sugar sprinkles. Barely dip the top of the red-coated portion in the melted candy coating and then immediately in yellow sugar sprinkles.
- Lay on parchment paper to set completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine Rice Chex cereal, Cheerios, pretzel sticks and peanuts.
- Then, in a microwave-safe bowl (or the container the candy coating comes in), melt the candy coating according to package directions. It usually takes about 90 seconds to 2 minutes. Stir every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted candy coating over the ingredients in the bowl and toss to coat, using a large spoon. Coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Then immediately sprinkle ½ of the confetti sprinkles over the mixture in the bowl. Stir gently to mix them throughout.
- Spread the mixture in an even layer on parchment paper. I like to keep mine contained to a baking sheet to catch any strays.
- Immediately sprinkle with the remaining confetti sprinkles, sprinkle stars, Fruit Loops cereal, and M&Ms candies. Lay the Lifesaver gummies on the mixture. Finally, top with the Mini Olympic Torches.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces. Serve and enjoy!
How to Store Olympics Snack Mix
Store any leftover snack mix in an airtight container or baggie. It should stay fresh for a week or so.

Instructions
- To make the Mini Olympic Torches: Melt enough candy coating according to package directions to have about ⅓ cup of melted candy coating. Dip the large end of a Bugle in melted candy coating then immediately in red sugar sprinkles. Barely dip the top of the red-coated portion in the melted candy coating and then immediately in yellow sugar sprinkles. Lay on parchment paper to set completely.
