Celebrate the excitement of the Olympic Games with my Olympics Breakfast Board. With fresh fruits, crispy bacon and an array of yummy carbs and toppings, this board takes the gold!
A Winning Breakfast
To kick off these very belated Olympic Games, I created this fun and delicious Olympics Breakfast Board. Full of healthy, tasty, and maybe even a few indulgent nibbles, it’s a fully customizable breakfast that your whole family will love.
Fun Olympics Fact!
Fun fact! Did you know that the rings symbolize the coming together of the five continents? The colors of the rings–blue, black, red, yellow, and green–replicate the colors in the flags of all the competing countries (read more about it here). I’m here for the togetherness! And the yumminess.
Celebrating the Olympics with Great Food!
I get so, so excited for the Olympics, y’all. I cry happy tears through the whole opening ceremony, watching everyone walk in so proud and excited. There’s so much pageantry!
And then the events themselves–what a thrill! We keep the games on non-stop at our house for all three weeks because we can never get enough. I think I look forward to the swimming events the most. Wait, no. Make that track and field. Ooooh, or GYMNASTICS! Ha! I’m so glad I don’t have to choose.
So Easy to Make
When it comes to easy and impressive breakfast boards, this one’s a real winner! With a combination of pre-made foods and some fresh ingredients, the prep is super easy. Easy and delicious? Yes, please!
How perfect would this be for a Saturday morning Olympics watch party with the family or a crowd of friends?! It’s great for grazing on. The bite-size selections of breakfast favorites make it family-friendly and crowd pleasing.

How to Make an Olympics Breakfast Board
- First, bake the bacon. When it’s ready, keep it warming in a 200°F oven while you prep your other ingredients and assemble your board.
- While the bacon is cooking, wash the fresh fruit and set aside to dry. Once dry, quarter the strawberries, chunk the pineapple, and halve the green grapes.
- Place the fruit in small serving bowls and arrange them in the center of an 18”x12” wood board to look like the Olympic Rings.
- Next, fill mini jars with maple syrup, peanut butter, Nutella and cream cheese. Place a filled jar in each corner of the board.
- Heat the mini pancakes and waffles according to package directions. We heat our mini pancakes in the microwave and waffles in the toaster.
- Once the waffles are toasted, cut them into 4 mini round waffles. The mini versions of these pancakes and waffles are so great for snacking on and can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature. They’re perfect for dipping in syrup, too!
- Slice each mini bagel in half and toast them in the toaster, toaster oven or in the big oven.
- Cut each Llama Rama Granola Bar into fourths.
- Start by arranging the mini pancakes near the maple syrup jar, the mini bagels near the cream cheese and the mini waffles in the bottom center of the board, just below the bowls of pineapple and green grapes.
- Place half of the bacon to the left of the Nutella jar and the other half to the right of the peanut butter jar. Pile the mini muffins just under the mini pancakes on the left side of the board and the Llama Rama granola bar bites just below the mini bagels on the right side of the board. Arrange the granola minis on the top middle of the board.
- Place serving spoons and spreaders in the maple syrup, peanut butter, Nutella, and cream cheese. Have some food picks handy for people to get fruit from the serving bowls to the their plates.
- Serve and Enjoy!
