These STAR-Berry Brie Skewers are just too cute not to make for all the summer’s patriotic holidays. Strawberry stars, fresh basil, chunks of creamy brie cheese and fresh blueberries make a perfect presentation. Served with balsamic glaze, the combination of textures and flavors is delicious!

These strawberry brie skewers are super easy and so delicious. The mellow brie, sweet strawberry, fresh basil and that tart blueberry. Every bite is a treat! You can serve with a balsamic glaze for dipping. Or you can drizzle with the balsamic glaze just before serving. I also like to serve these with honey for a little extra sweetness.

How to Make STAR-berry Brie Skewers

  • Using a mini star cookie cutter, cut each strawberry half into a star shape.
  • Cut the brie bites into fourths.
  • On each bamboo food skewer, add a blueberry, a quarter of brie cheese, a basil leaf and then a strawberry star.
  • Serve with a balsamic glaze or honey, for drizzling.

Ingredients

  • 6 strawberries, halved
  • 3 brie cheese bites, quartered
  • 12 large blueberries
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • balsamic glaze or honey, for serving

Instructions

  1. Using a mini star cookie cutter, cut each strawberry half into a star shape.
  2. Slice the brie bites into fourths.
  3. On each bamboo food skewer, add a blueberry, a quarter of brie cheese, a leaf of basil and then a strawberry star.
  4. Serve with a balsamic glaze or honey, for drizzling.
