Oh, Boy! It’s a Mickey Mouse Snack Mix!
This post is in no way sponsored (just to get that out of the way!). But recently we took Brookie to the “Happiest Place on Earth,” and we’re currently experiencing some pretty intense Mickey Mouse appreciation at our house. What a whirlwind! Our adventure turned out to be exhausting but oh-so magical. And of course I couldn’t let that happy feeling go without commemorating it with a snack mix. My Mickey Mouse Lovers Snack Mix brings the salty, the sweet and the perfectly crunchy into a snack fit for your favorite cartoon mouse.
How to Make Mickey Mouse Lovers Snack Mix
To make the snack mix, first, separate out ⅓ cup each brown, yellow and red Peanut M&M’s and ⅓ cup each brown, yellow and red Mini M&Ms and set aside. You should have 1 cup total of Peanut M&M’s and 1 cup total of Mini M&M’s. Then, in a large mixing bowl, combine Chex cereal, Cheerios and peanuts.
In a microwave safe bowl or the container the candy coating comes in, melt the candy coating according to package directions, usually 90 seconds to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Be sure not to over melt the candy coating as it will burn and become too thick to stir and coat the mix evenly.
Pour the melted candy coating over the ingredients in the large bowl and toss to coat with a large spoon. Ingredients should be evenly coated in the candy coating. Immediately sprinkle half of the confetti sprinkles over the mixture in the bowl. Stir gently to mix them throughout.
Spread the mixture out in an even layer on a parchment lined baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with the remaining confetti sprinkles and then the reserved 1 cup Peanut M&M’s and 1 cup Mini M&Ms. Finally, arrange the Mickey Pretzels over the mixture. Allow the mixture to cool completely. Break apart to serve out of an airtight jar or store it in an airtight container or baggie for up to a week. Enjoy!

Where can I find the Mickey Mouse Pretzels?
Hi, Susan! All of the ingredients are linked in the post. They come and go from time to time, so they may not always be in stock. I hope this helps!
I only use 1 1/3 cups from the two bags of M&Ms? Step one of the instructions has me measure & set aside 1/3 cup each of the minis & 3 colors of the peanut M&Ms that I add in step 5, but never mentions the rest of them.
Hi! That is correct! You’re only using the brown, red and yellow peanut and mini M&M’s you separated out. So 1 cup of peanut M&M’s total and 1 cup of mini M&M’s total. All brown, red and yellow. Hope this clarifies. Enjoy!
Where else do you find the Mickey Mouse pretzels besides the link on here that charges so much money for the pretzels and for shipping! Lol. I just can’t justify spending $30 for a bag of pretzels. But I really want the Mickey ones in the mix. ☹️
Hi Stefanie! If you google Mickey Mouse pretzels there are some other places to order from, but they’re all pretty pricey because of the novelty of them. They’re even expensive if you get them at Disney. I hope you’re able to find a more affordable option. Enjoy!
