Ingredients:
- Chocolate Chex cereal
- Very Berry Cheerios
- X and O shaped pretzels
- Vanilla candy coating
- Cupid’s sprinkle mix (using just the nonpareils and heart sprinkles sections from each)
- Cupid’s Blend Regular M&M’s
- Valentine’s Peanut M&M’s
- X’s & O’s Shaped Frosted Cookies
Supplies:
- Large bowl
- Microwave safe bowl
- Large spoon
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper

How to Make XOXO Valentine’s Day Snack Mix
- First, in a large bowl, combine 4 cups Chocolate Chex cereal, 2 cups Very Berry Cheerios, and 2 cups X and O Shaped Pretzels.

- Then, in a microwave safe bowl (or the container the candy coating comes in), melt the vanilla candy coating according to package directions. It usually takes about 90 seconds to 2 minutes. Stir every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
Hot Tip!
Be sure not to over-melt the candy coating! It will burn and become too thick to stir and coat the mix evenly. Go slowly, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Pour the melted candy coating over the ingredients in the bowl and toss to coat, using a large spoon.
- Coat all the ingredients evenly.

- Spread the mixture in an even layer on parchment paper. I like to keep mine contained to a rimmed baking sheet to catch any stray sprinkles.
- Immediately sprinkle with the Valentine’s nonpareils and the heart-shaped sprinkle sections from the sprinkle containers.

- Next, top the mix with 1 cup Cupid’s Blend Regular M&M’s, 1 cup Valentine’s Peanut M&M’s, 1 cup Very Berry Cheerios, 1 cup Chocolate Chex, 1 cup X and O shaped pretzels, and 2 cups X’s & O’s Shaped Frosted Cookies.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely. Break apart to serve and store it in an airtight container or baggie and enjoy!

Storage
Store it in an airtight container or baggie at room temperature. We keep an airtight glass jar full on our kitchen counter all month long. It also makes for such a great treat to bag or box up and give as Valentine’s Day gifts to your friends and neighbors.

Hi, Ellie! Can’t wait for you to share it! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Hi! Canโt find the Valentine nonpareils sprinkles
or the Valentine heart sprinkles any advice for a substitute? Thanks!
Hi Sarah! The sprinkles are purely decorative, so if you find something you like, sprinkle away! Amazon might have some that ship quickly. Enjoy!
