Make an adorable Bunny Snack Board with hummus, veggies and crackers for a festive and tasty addition to your Easter celebration!

Easter Bunny Snack Board by The BakerMama

How cute is this bunny-shaped veggie and hummus board?! It’s such a simple way to serve a healthy snack or appetizer for the holiday. Easter is already full of sweet treats from the egg hunts and all the desserts, so let’s offer a special treat that’s healthy to balance it all out.

I first created this Bunny Snack Board in early March 2020 so I could share the inspiration with y’all well before Easter. I created it back when we still had plans to spend Easter with our families up in Oklahoma. We enjoyed it as a side dish with dinner that night and we all gobbled it up. So fresh and delicious! And even though we’re no longer going to Oklahoma to celebrate the day with our extended family, we’re still looking forward to recreating this board as a family to enjoy here at home on Easter Sunday and for years to come!

It’s so easy to create and would be such a fun activity to do as a family. A plate of hummus is garnished to look like the bunny’s face and surrounded by a variety of fresh veggies with crackers shaped to look like the bunny’s ears. Every bunny is sure to enjoy it!

I first built this snack board on a rimmed 20” x 13” wood board and have since been building it on our 18″ x 12″ walnut wood board. The round rimmed plate for the hummus face in the middle of the board is 8.5” in diameter.

The Bunny’s face is the rimmed plate full of hummus with black olive eyes and mouth, a tomato nose, and asparagus whiskers.

His ears are made out of round pita crackers from Trader Joe’s with red bell pepper slices in the middle of each one.

He’s surrounded by broccoli, celery, radishes, petite whole carrots, black olives, asparagus, and cauliflower. And to just add to the cuteness, I couldn’t help but put a broccoli bowtie on him with a cherry tomato as the center. Oh so adorable!

Make an adorable Bunny Snack Board with hummus, veggies and crackers for a festive and tasty addition to your Easter celebration!

  • 1 (16 ounce) container plain hummus
  • 1 (6 ounce) can large black olives, drained
  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 2025 asparagus spears
  • 40 round pita crackers
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag broccoli
  • 9 celery stalks, each cut into thirds
  • 6 radishes, sliced thinly
  • 1012 petite whole carrots
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag cauliflower

  1. Using an 20″ x 13″ board, platter or sheet pan, place an 8.5” rimmed plate in the center of the board. Fill the plate with the hummus.
  2. Decorate the bunny’s hummus face with two olives for the eyes, a cherry tomato for the nose, olive fourths to create the mouth shape, and asparagus spears for the whiskers.
  3. Arrange half the pita crackers for one of the bunny’s ears and the other half for the other ear, leaving a hole in the center of each ear to put the red pepper slices. Fill each bunny ear with red pepper slices.
  4. Put the broccoli at the top of the board between the bunny’s ears. Arrange the celery, radish slices, petite carrots, remaining olives, and remaining asparagus spears down both sides of the bunny’s hummus face plate with the cauliflower at the bottom of the plate.
  5. Place two broccoli with a cherry tomato between them on top of the cauliflower for the bunny’s bowtie.
  6. Serve and have fun snacking on it!

    1. Hi Tina! We love raw asparagus! We just trim the ends off. You could certainly blanch or steam it if you prefer it a little cooked. Enjoy!

  1. When I saw your Easter Bunny Snack Board I knew I had to make this for our 2021 Easter picnic dinner at the lake. We have a 9, 11 and 13 year old great nieces that I know will enjoy and hopefully eat more veggies. Thank you for this cute idea.
