The holidays are here and that means parties and get-togethers galore. If you’re hosting this year, I’m here to help you take the party from good to great with this Cranberry Orange Spiked Sweet Tea! It’s refreshingly sweet and tart with a beautiful ruby red color that makes for a gorgeous celebration in a glass.
When it comes to hosting a crowd, we like to prep everything in advance so we can really enjoy the time with our friends and family. As much as we love crafting individual cocktails for ourselves or a small group, when there are several guests eager for a drink in hand, cocktails by the pitcher are the way to go.
This sweet tea cocktail could not be simpler. It’s made with Red Diamond sweet tea that’s so delicious on its own yet compliments the other ingredients so tastefully in this festive holiday cocktail. The ready-to-drink sweet tea is made purely of tea leaves, water and sugar and nothing else. NO powders, concentrates, or preservatives. The process is not easy, but Red Diamond has perfected it and does all of the quality and consistent work for us. You can expect this tea to taste real and refreshing every time which is why it can only be found in the refrigerator section of the grocery store.
The sweet tea adds such a nice balance of sweetness to compliment the tartness of the cranberry and orange so deliciously. Spike it all with spiced rum and serve in individual glasses with floating cranberries, a hanging orange slice and a cinnamon stick garnish. Sweet tea lovers will rejoice over how delicious the sweet tea tastes with this holiday twist.
This cranberry orange spiked sweet tea can be made-ahead and chilling in the fridge until your guests arrive. Serve it up and soak in the season, my friends!

- 4 cups Red Diamond Sweet Tea
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 1-1/2 cups spiced rum
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 2 medium oranges, sliced
- cinnamon sticks, for garnishing
- Place the fresh cranberries and orange slices in the bottom of a large pitcher that holds at least 80 ounces. Add the sweet tea, cranberry juice, spiced rum and orange juice. Stir to combine. Chill until ready to serve.
- Pour over ice in cocktail glasses. Garnish each glass with an orange slice and cinnamon stick, if desired.
