Enjoy the classic flavors of fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil in a flavorful and filling Caprese Pasta Salad. Serve it as a side dish with dinner or take it to a family potluck and prepare to be popular. You’ll love the combination of ripe cherry tomatoes, chewy marinated mozzarella balls, fresh basil and al dente pasta.

How to Make Caprese Pasta Salad

  • Cook the pasta to al dente according to package directions.
  • Drain and rinse with cold water. Add the cooked pasta to a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the halved tomatoes, diced red onion and entire container of mozzarella cheese balls, marinade and all, to the bowl with the pasta. Stir with two spoons to coat everything well in the marinade.
  • Gently toss in the chopped fresh basil. Salt to taste, if desired.
Steps to make Caprese Pasta Salad.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir again before serving. Enjoy

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.

  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 (12 ounce) container marinated fresh mozzarella cheese balls
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
