LET’S BE FRIENDS!
Hi, I’m Maegan! I’m the recipe creator, cookbook author and mom of four behind The BakerMama. I’m passionate about bringing people together with food and inspiring others to serve beautiful, delicious food with confidence and joy. From easy, family-friendly recipes and creative food boards to spectacular spreads and brilliant little bites, everything I share is inspired by the way we really eat, gather and celebrate.
I started The BakerMama in 2012 with a single recipe for peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies. What began as a place to share the food I was making for my family has grown into hundreds of original recipes, creative meal ideas and cookbooks—all inspired by my love of feeding the people I love.
My husband (and fellow foodie), Brandon, and I are parents to four children: Baker, Bryce, Barrett and Brookie. We live in Dallas, Texas, where the kitchen truly is the heart of our home. Whether it’s an everyday family dinner or a house full of friends, we love welcoming people in and gathering around great food.
Some of my favorite memories have always been tied to food and the people gathered around it. That’s what I hope to create in our own home and inspire through The BakerMama: food that brings joy to the everyday and gives us a reason to slow down, gather and enjoy being together.
Preparing delicious food is one of my favorite ways to serve others. Friends and family know that when they show up at our door, they’ll be greeted with a big hug and something yummy waiting for them. I especially love watching someone take that first bite. When their eyes get big, a smile comes across their face and a long “mmmmm” comes out—I know I’ve made something delicious. It makes me so happy!

Around our Family Table
Around Our Family Table
As our kids get older, life around our table just keeps getting busier—and hungrier! These days, life is full of busy schedules, sports, activities, growing appetites and plenty of friends coming through our door. Keeping everyone fed is no small task, but gathering around good food continues to be one of our favorite ways to spend time together.
My husband, Brandon, is just as passionate about food as I am. He works in the corporate food industry and loves cooking, cocktail crafting and opening a great bottle of wine. The man can sear a great steak, shake a marvelous margarita and flip a perfect pancake!
We’ve always shared a love of great food and entertaining, and I couldn’t imagine doing this life with anyone else.
Our four kids—Baker, Bryce, Barrett and Brookie—have grown up in the kitchen and around The BakerMama. As they’ve gotten older, feeding our family has certainly changed, but they continue to inspire so much of what I create. From quick meals between activities to big family dinners and a kitchen full of hungry kids and their friends, I’m always looking for delicious ways to feed a crowd and make everyone feel welcome.
Our kitchen is still the heart of our home. It’s where everyone seems to end up, where friends are always welcome and where so many of our best everyday moments happen. Family is everything, and feeding mine will always be one of my greatest joys.

Boards by The BakerMama
The perfect foundation for creating the most beautiful snacks, meals, and food to share with the people you love. Handcrafted by my dad with locally sourced Oklahoma wood, these boards are truly beautiful with their beveled edges and slightly thinner design that makes carrying the board a breeze. We offer a variety of my favorite shapes and sizes for serving at any occasion.
Here to Inspire You
I strive for simplicity in the kitchen, and my goal is to give you the encouragement and clear instructions you need to successfully make any recipe or food board I share. Whether you’re feeding your family, hosting friends or celebrating something special, I hope The BakerMama gives you the confidence to create and serve delicious food that everyone will enjoy.
And if you ever have a question, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to leave a comment here on the blog, send me an email or reach out on Instagram. I’m always happy to help however I can.
Thanks so much for being here and following along. I hope you leave hungry, happy and inspired to make something delicious!
xoxo,
