I’m head over heels in love with this Valentine’s Chocolate Fondue Board. It’s so adorable and so quick to make with ingredients that are easy to shop for at the store. And who wouldn’t love to dip into all this deliciousness?!
What Do I Need to Make a Valentine’s Chocolate Fondue Board
Here’s the line-up of goodies surrounding the melty chocolate fondue to dip them in:
- fresh strawberries
- mini palmiers (I get mine from the Tom Thumb bakery or World Market)
- Keebler fudge stripe cookies
- Rice Krispies treats cut into hearts with a heart-shaped cookie cutter
- Town House Pretzel FlipSides Thins that look like hearts
- Chips Ahoy red velvet cookies
- banana slices
- heart-shaped shortbread cherry cookies from Aldi
- chocolate-filled rolled wafer cookies
- chewy Chips Ahoy
- s’mores mallows, cut in to hearts with a heart-shaped cookie cutter
- strawberry creme wafer cookies
- heart-shaped pink marshmallows
- Wilton Fondue Melting Chocolate Wafers, melted according to package directions
How to Make a Chocolate Fondue Board
Place a heart-shaped bowl in the middle of the board (I found this board at Costco). Wait until the board is assembled to put the melted chocolate fondue in it. Surround the heart-shaped bowl with all of the treats to dip into the chocolate fondue.
Just before you are ready to serve, melt the chocolate wafers according to the package directions. Gently pour the melted chocolate fondue into the heart-shaped bowl in the middle of the board and serve.
I use fondue chocolate melting wafers so the chocolate stays nice & melty for at least 30 minutes. If you need it to stay melty longer, either reheat it in 15 second intervals and put it back on the board or use a small ceramic fondue pot with a candle lit under it to keep the chocolate melted for easy dipping. Amazon also has a heart-shaped fondue pot that would be perfect!
I hope you and your loved ones enjoy this Chocolate Fondue Board as much as we do and that you make it over and over again for all your special occasions. It’s certainly a must-make for Valentine’s Day and would be such a special addition to any celebration with your loved ones.
