This Candy Corn Snack Board is such a trick, but what a nice treat it would be at your Halloween party to have something healthy for people to snack on amongst all the Halloween sweets!

Candy Corn Snack Board

This festive and healthy snack board is sure to be a Halloween hit! A beautiful assortment of fruits and vegetables along with a yummy dip and a tasty trail mix. This Candy Corn Snack board will be all the talk at your Halloween celebrations, nothing corny about it! 😉

Do you like candy corn?

It seems like people either love it or they hate it. I think it’s so cute and festive for Halloween, but it’s certainly not at the top of my favorite Halloween candy list. I only really like it when it’s combined with something salty and crunchy to balance out the sweetness and sugary texture. The Candy Corn Trail Mix that I included on this board is so tasty. The combo of sweet and salty with crunchy and chewy is irresistible to me.

I love how candy corn screams Halloween so I was eager to create this snack board that resembles a candy corn shape but obviously tastes nothing like candy corn. Similar to how I created my Pumpkin Snack Board last Halloween and all the other fun holiday-themed snack boards you’ll find here on my blog and in my Beautiful Boards cookbook.

How to Make a Candy Corn Snack Board

I used a 24″ x 18″ wood board, but you could certainly use whatever size board that you have on hand.

For the candy corn shape, I used a variety of white, orange, yellow and black fruits and vegetables, but I encourage you to use whichever ones work best for you and the crowd you’ll be serving it to. If you just want to use cauliflower, orange baby carrots and yellow bell pepper slices to create the candy corn shape and surround it with just black grapes, that’s perfect and will still be super cute and so tasty. Make it your own!

  • Start by making a triangle of cauliflower near the top and middle of the board.
  • Then add orange baby carrots, orange bell pepper slices and mini orange tomatoes for the orange layer.
  • Next place yellow baby carrots, yellow bell pepper slices and mini yellow tomatoes for the yellow layer to complete the “candy corn” shape.

  • Now place two small serving bowls in the top left and right corners of the wood board as place holders that will be filled with Everything But The Bagel Yogurt Dip and Candy Corn Trail Mix. You could also use ranch or hummus in place of (or in addition to) the yogurt dip. I ended up adding some ranch and chocolate hummus to the side of this board when I served it.
  • Fill the empty space on the board with black concord grapes, blackberries, fresh black figs, dried black figs and black plum slices.
  • Finish by filling the bowls with the dip and trail mix.
  • And there you have it! The most nutritious and delicious candy corn you’ll ever have.
