How to Bake Crostini

First, preheat the oven to 375°F. While the oven heats, slice the baguette on the diagonal into 1/4-inch thick slices with a serrated knife. Then brush each slice on both sides with olive oil. Place the slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined, rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 6-8 minutes, until lightly toasted and golden brown around the crust. Once toasty, remove them from the oven and sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Ta-da! That’s it! Enjoy dipping!

  1. Hi,
Could you please tell me what type of bread to use? I have a loaf of French bread in my freezer that I need to use, would this work? I’d love to try and make some of this. 😋
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Brenda! Any elongated crusty baguette would be great to make this crostini with. A French baguette is perfect! Enjoy!
