What Do I Need to Make an Egg Wash?
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water
How to Make an Egg Wash
- Add the egg and water to a small mixing bowl.
- Whisk vigorously until well incorporated and thin enough to spread smoothly onto baked goods.
- If needed, add a little more water to thin it out so it can easily be brushed with a pastry brush onto baked goods before baking them.
- When baked, they’ll have a crisp, beautiful golden brown finish to them.

I’m confused, you separate the eggs but which part do you use? You don’t mention to use just the yolk but in one of the bowls it appears like the whole egg is in it? 🤷🏻♀️
