A Date Night Treat
If you like cannoli, you’re going to flip for this scrumptious Chocolate Chip Cannoli Dip. Mascarpone and ricotta cheeses whipped with powdered sugar and studded with mini chocolate chips make one fantastic dessert dip perfect for date night in or entertaining friends. Served with cookies, waffle cone pieces, broken cannoli shells and strawberries. It’s simple, sophisticated and so delicious. And so easy to make!

Dessert dips make the perfect sweet treat for entertaining friends over for dinner, drinks or for a casual hangout. A banana pudding dip, skillet s’mores dip , easy chocolate fondue or my chocolate cheesecake dip are always favorites.
This cannoli dip is so creamy and delicious. You can use your favorite mini chocolate chips (I prefer semi-sweet or dark chocolate) to make it just as decadent as you like. I can’t wait for you to try it!
Ingredients and Supplies

Ingredients:
- Whole-milk ricotta
- Mascarpone creamy spreadable cheese
- Powdered sugar (confectioner’s sugar)
- Mini chocolate chips
- Dippers:
Supplies:
- Stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment (or hand mixer)
- Serving bowl and platter
- Plastic wrap
How to Make Chocolate Chip Cannoli Dip
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the ricotta and mascarpone on medium speed until smooth. (You can also use a hand mixer)
- Add the powdered sugar and beat on medium speed until well combined.
- Add mini chocolate chips.
- Stir together.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- When ready to serve, place the dip bowl on a platter or board and surround it with dippers. Garnish the dip with mini chocolate chips. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving, if desired.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This dip does not freeze well as it will become grainy when thawed.
