Satisfy your sweet tooth with these fun and yummy Apple Nachos made three ways! They’re so easy to make and taste so great for a snack or dessert that everyone will enjoy!
Apple Nachos
How great are these Apple Nachos? Dessert nachos are so perfect for a satisfying sweet treat that’s a bit healthier and doesn’t require any baking or cooking. Everyone loves them! Small and crisp apples make for the perfect one-bite nacho. Apples have the most delicious natural sweetness that compliments the toppings so well.
One of our favorite ways to enjoy apples, besides eating them whole right down to the core, is slicing them and dipping them in peanut butter or caramel. It’s one of our go-to after school snacks. I thought it would be fun to turn them into “nachos” and the kids went crazy over them! Such a fun, healthy snack.
It all starts with apples cut into thin slices. We just put them on parchment paper on a sheet pan to keep it simple and great for sharing. I personally do not like putting lemon juice on my apples because it changes the flavor. I’d rather just eat them quickly.
Apple Nachos Ingredients and Supplies
(see recipe card at the bottom of this post for measurements and details)
Ingredients:
- Small apples sliced thin (I like Fuji apples or Gala apples. Opt for Pink Lady apples, for less sweetness or green apples for some fun tartness)
- Peanut butter, slightly melted. You could also use almond butter.
- Chocolate sauce, slightly melted
- Caramel sauce, slightly melted
- Mini chocolate chips
- Chopped peanuts
- White chocolate chips, slightly melted
- Mini M&M’s chocolate candies
- Chopped pecans
- Chocolate toffee bits
Supplies:
- Sheet pan or platter
How to Make Apple Nachos
- On a platter or sheet pan, arrange the apple slices in a long pile.
- Drizzle the melted peanut butter on a third of the pile, the melted chocolate sauce on another third of the pile and the melted caramel on the last third of the pile.
- Sprinkle the peanut butter drizzled apple slices with the chopped peanuts and mini chocolate chips.
- Drizzle the melted white chocolate chips over the chocolate sauce covered apple slices and then sprinkle with the mini M&M’s candies.
- Sprinkle the caramel drizzled apples with the chopped pecans and toffee bits.
- Serve and enjoy!
Topping Options (3 Ways!)
The topping options are endless, but we LOVE these three toppings so much…
- peanut butter, chopped peanuts and mini chocolate chips
- chocolate sauce, white chocolate drizzle and mini M&M’s candies
- caramel sauce, chopped pecans and chocolate toffee pieces
It’s fun to do all three flavors so there’s a variety to choose from, but you could also just make one of the flavors and they would be just as enjoyable. You can also use your favorite candy bars – just chop and sprinkle!
How to Serve Apple Nachos
Get the kids involved in the fun by letting them drizzle and sprinkle. They’ll love it and be even more excited to dig into them.
You can enjoy them right away while the sauces are still a little warm on the cold, crisp apples. Or you can place them in the refrigerator and serve them later. They taste just as great, and really refreshing, when they’re extra cold straight from the refrigerator.
Storing Leftover Apple Nachos
Store leftover apple nachos in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
I hope y’all love these caramel apple nachos as much as we do! They’re so great for a quick snack or treat that the whole family will love!

I finally took the time to make this as I normally am not the cook in the home. It was FANTASTIC! I will definitely make this again.
