How to Make PayDay Candy Bar Bites
- Preheat the oven to 250°F. Unwrap and place the caramels a few inches apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet on the middle rack of the preheated oven for 5 minutes to soften the caramels. They should not melt. They should just soften so that you can reshape them.
- Meanwhile, in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together the peanut butter and marshmallow creme until well combined.
- As soon as the caramels are softened, add them to the mixing bowl with the peanut butter and marshmallow creme mixture. Beat until the caramels are well incorporated and the mixture is thick and smooth.
- Place the peanuts in a shallow bowl.
- Shape 1 tablespoon portions of the mixture into a 2-inch long log and immediately press the log into the peanuts so that it is coated on both sides.
- Repeat with the remaining mixture and peanuts.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
