Y’all know how much I love apple pie. I wait all year for autumn to come around so I can fill my house with that sweet smell. Whether it’s my mom’s special apple pie recipe, these fun to eat apple pie bites, or this super yummy snack mix, there’s nothing quite like that combination of apples and cinnamon.

Join me in the kitchen to make this scrumptious apple pie snack mix.

How to Make Apple Pie Snack Mix

  • Line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the Cinnamon Chex, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, pretzel snaps, and 1 cup pecans.
  • Melt the candy coating according to package directions. Pour the melted candy coating over the mixture. Gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
  • Spread the coated mixture out evenly onto the parchment-lined sheet pan.
  • Immediately (while the coating is still wet) sprinkle with Apple Pie Toast Crunch, Apple Granola and remaining 1 cup candied pecans evenly over the top. Lightly press them down so they stick.
  • Allow the mix to sit until completely hardened, about 30 minutes.
  • Once set, break into clusters and serve.

Storage and Gifting

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.

For gifting, package the snack mix in festive cellophane treat bagssmall mason jars or airtight tins. It looks beautiful and keeps the mix crunchy. Add a note that says, “Apple pie in a bite!” for a sweet touch. 🙂

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cinnamon Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
  • 2 cups pretzel snaps (or pretzel twists)
  • 2 cups candied pecan halves, divided
  • 1 (20 ounce) package vanilla almond bark or (16 ounce) package vanilla candy coating, melted according to package directions
  • 2 cups Apple Pie Toast Crunch cereal
  • 1 and 1/2 cups apple cinnamon granola


Instructions

  1. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Cinnamon Chex, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, pretzel snaps, and 1 cup pecans.
  3. Melt the candy coating according to package directions. Pour the melted candy coating) over the mixture. Gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated mixture out evenly onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
