Description

Easy Homemade Baked Meatballs come together in minutes and taste delicious. Serve with marinara sauce and a side salad for a quick, easy, and filling meal your family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (I like to use 80/20)
  • 1/2 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Simple Marinara Sauce, for serving, if desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a large rimmed baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the marinara sauce. Shape the meat mixture into 25 (1 tablespoon size) balls. Place the meatballs about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet. Press down on the balls to flatten just slightly. Bake for 15 minutes, or until crispy and browned on the outside, rotating the pan halfway through.
  3. Add the baked meatballs to the simmering marinara sauce. Serve with a sliced crusty baguette on the side.
