Description
Fall’s favorite fruit sautéed in honey cinnamon butter for a deliciously perfect topping to waffles, pancakes or even ice cream!
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped apple (I used Honeycrisp and Granny Smith)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons honey cinnamon butter
Instructions
- Add the chopped apples and 1 tablespoon water to a small skillet over medium heat. Cover and let the apples cook, stirring occasionally, until they’re just starting to soften and the water is absorbed, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the honey cinnamon butter to the skillet. Stir the apples and butter together until the apples are completely coated. Continue to sauté over low heat for an additional 5 minutes until the apples are of your desired softness.
