Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- flaky sea salt, for garnishing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 24-cup mini muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- Place the butter and chocolate chips in a large microwave- safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 60 to 90 seconds, whisking every 30 seconds, until the chocolate chips are melted and smooth.
- Whisk in the sugar, then add the eggs, one at a time, and whisk until smooth. Add the cocoa powder and stir until well incorporated. Scoop the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each one almost full.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, rotating the pan halfway through.
- Remove the brownie bites from the oven and immediately sprinkle each bite with a little flaky sea salt.
- Let the brownie bites cool completely in the pan. To remove, run a sharp knife around the edge of each bite and pop it out of the muffin cup.
