Description

This scrumptious sweet and salty Spooky Snack Mix is sure to be a Halloween hit!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups (12.8 ounce box) Chocolate Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Count Chocula cereal, divided
  • 3 cups Halloween pretzels, divided
  • 1 (20 ounce) package chocolate candy coating, melted according to package directions
  • 1 (7 ounce) container Halloween-themed sprinkles (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/4 cup candy eyeballs
  • 1 and 1/2 cups Halloween Blend M&M’s (regular or peanut)
  • 2 cups Eerie Critters cookies

Instructions

  1. Line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the Chex cereal, 2 cups of the Halloween pretzels and 2 cups of the Count Chocula cereal.
  3. Melt the chocolate candy coating according to package directions. Be sure not to over melt the candy coating as it will burn and become too thick to stir and coat the mix evenly.
  4. Pour the melted candy coating over the mixture in the large bowl and toss to coat with a large spoon. The mixture should be evenly coated in the candy coating.
  5. Spread the coated mixture in an even layer on the parchment-lined sheet pan. Immediately sprinkle with the sprinkles and then arrange the candy eyeballs evenly across the mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the mixture with the M&M’s, remaining 1 cup Count Chocula cereal, remaining 1 cup Halloween pretzels, and the Eerie Critters cookies.
  7. Allow mixture to cool completely. Break apart to serve and enjoy!
  8. Store in an airtight container or baggie for up to 2 weeks.
