Description

Sheet Pan Walking Tacos put the same fun, “walk around” loaded-taco concept into an easy, family-friendly sheet pan meal that your family will rave about!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 (12.5 ounce) bag Fritos corn chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 cup diced white onion, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup sour cream, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickled jalapenos, plus more for serving
  • Salsa, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 17×12-inch sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet until browned. Drain grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Spread the Fritos corn chips onto the prepared sheet pan. Top with the taco meat and then the shredded cheese.
  5. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  6. Top with lettuce, onion, tomatoes, a drizzle of sour cream, and jalapenos before serving.
  7. Serve with more toppings and salsa.
