Description

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Celery Sticks are made with celery, peanut butter, pretzels and a few trimmings. They’re a healthy, fun Christmas treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 34 celery stalks
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 12 pretzel tiny twists, each torn in half
  • 24 white chocolate chips
  • 24 mini chocolate chips
  • 12 red raspberries (make sure they are bright red, if possible)
  • Powdered sugar, for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Trim the ends of each celery stalk and then trim a very thin strip, lengthwise, off of the back of each stalk so they lay flat. Slice each stalk, crosswise, into thirds or fourths depending on the size of the stalks (you’ll need 12 sticks total).
  2. Spread peanut butter in each celery stick and then arrange pretzel twist halves, torn sides facing outwards, for the antlers.
  3. Create the eyes by pressing two white chocolate chips, pointed sides down, into the peanut butter just under the antlers. Then place the mini chocolate chips, pointed sides up, in the middle of the white chocolate chips, securing them with a tiny dot of peanut butter.
  4. Press a raspberry below the eyes for Rudolph’s nose. If the raspberry is too big, slice some of the bottom of it off so it is proportionate to the size of the celery stick.
  5. Sprinkle a little powdered sugar on the top third of each Rudolph to make it look like snow on the antlers.
