Description

Crispy Baked Wonton Chips bake up deliciously airy, golden brown and perfectly seasoned. They make the perfect snack just ready for dipping in your favorite sauce!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 12 wonton wrappers (makes 24 chips)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the kosher salt, black pepper and garlic powder until well combined.
  3. Brush the bottom of sheet pan with half of the sesame oil.
  4. Cut each wonton wrapper in half diagonally.
  5. Arrange the wonton halves on the oiled sheet pan. Brush the tops of the wonton halves with the remaining sesame oil.
  6. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the tops of the wonton halves.
  7. Bake for 5-6 minutes or until the wontons are golden brown and crisp, rotating the pan halfway through the baking time.
  8. Remove from oven and let set for a few minutes before tossing together and serving.
  9. Enjoy on their own or with your favorite dip. We love dipping them in sweet red chili sauce and edamame hummus.
