Description
Cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and al dente pasta come together in this easy and flavorful Caprese Pasta Salad.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Cavatappi pasta
- 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1 (12 ounce) container marinated fresh mozzarella cheese balls
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Instructions
- Cook the pasta to al dente according to package directions.
- Drain and rinse with cold water. Add the cooked pasta to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the halved tomatoes, diced red onion and entire container of mozzarella cheese balls, marinade and all, to the bowl with the pasta. Stir with two spoons to coat everything well in the marinade.
- Gently toss in the chopped fresh basil. Salt to taste, if desired.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir again before serving. Enjoy!
