Ingredients
- 1 tub (1 ΒΌ quarts) vanilla ice cream
- 24 brownie bites (store-bought, see recipe on page 217 of Celebration Boards or make my Fudge Brownie Bites recipe)
- 12 brownie triangles (store-bought, see recipe on page 217 of Celebration Boards or use my One-Bowl Fudge Brownie recipe and half the recipe)
- 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 1/4 cup crushed Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks
- 1/4 cup mini peanut butter cups
- 1/4 cup chopped nut topping
- 1/4 cup chopped Butterfinger candy bar
- 15 maraschino cherries with stems
- 2 tablespoons flaky sea salt
- 1/3 cup caramel sauce
- 1/3 cup hot fudge sauce, slightly melted
- 1/3 cup peanut butter, slightly melted
- 3 large waffle cones, broken into pieces
- 18 Oreo Mini cookies
- 30 mini chocolate chip cookies
- 1 cup raspberries
- 8 strawberries, halved
- 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip) or whipped cream
Instructions
- Scoop the ice cream into individual scoops and pile them snugly in the bowl.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until ready to serve. Reserve a space for the bowl in the center of the tray.
- Arrange the brownie bites and triangles in four sections around the space reserved for the ice cream.
- Add the sprinkles, crushed Oreos, chocolate chunks, peanut butter cups, chopped nuts, Butterfinger pieces, cherries, flaky salt, sauces, and peanut butter to the mini bowls. Arrange them around the tray.
- Cluster the waffle cone pieces, Oreo Minis, and chocolate chip cookies in sections around the tray. Divide the raspberries and strawberries between two sections in the tray.
- Add the whipped topping to the small bowl and place it in the tray.
- Right before serving, add the pre-scooped ice cream bowl onto its reserved space.
Notes
Pre-scooping the ice cream into a bowl is a total game changer; it keeps things clean and lets guests dig right in without a melty mess. Just pop the bowl onto the board at the last minute and serve!
Build the entire board ahead of time (without the ice cream) and cover loosely with plastic wrap.
Enjoy this board within 20 to 30 minutes of serving. That’s your sweet spot for guests to build their own sundaes before the ice cream starts getting too melty. Or replenish the board with fresh ice cream, as needed.
Serve with sundae bowls and spoons!
