Description

Sweet Liege-style waffles surrounded by classic toppings like Nutella, cookie butter, fresh berries, bananas, chocolate, and whipped cream make this Belgian Waffle Dessert Board a fun, interactive dessert everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 frozen Belgian Liege-style waffles, warmed according to package instructions (or homemade waffles)
  • 1 and 1/2 cups whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff cookie butter spread
  • 1/3 cup hazelnuts, halved or chopped
  • 1/3 cup Biscoff cookie crumbles
  • 12 strawberries, halved
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 6 ounces Belgian milk or dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
  • Powdered sugar, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the whipped cream, Nutella, and cookie butter in small bowls around the board, spacing them evenly to create the foundation of your layout.
  2. Add the hazelnuts and Biscoff cookie crumbles to mini bowls and place them between the other bowls on the board.
  3. Arrange the warmed Liege-style waffles in the center of the board, overlapping and layering them slightly to create height and make them the focal point.
  4. Fill in the remaining spaces with the strawberries, followed by the blueberries, Belgian chocolate pieces, raspberries, and banana slices.
  5. Finish by tucking fresh mint sprigs throughout the board for pops of color and freshness.
  6. Serve with a mini shaker of powdered sugar on the side so everyone can dust their waffle creations.
