What to Serve with Pizza Toast?

For lunch, I usually put out veggies and hummus to go with it. And for an after-school snack, I cut each toast into fourths and serve it with fruit. They’re easy to make, easy to eat and easy to clean up after. For dinner, I’ll serve it alongside a big salad. Like this one!

Chopped Caesar Salad

Crisp romaine, salty parmesan and a flavorful dressing tossed with crunchy homemade croutons. This Chopped Caesar Salad is an easy, straight-forward recipe that is sure to become your go-to salad.

Fun and Flexible

I try to always have sandwich bread, pizza sauce (or marinara sauce), mozzarella cheese and mini pepperoni on hand so I can make these anytime we want them. I love that I can make just one or a dozen of them depending on how many I want to serve. And you can adjust the toppings however you’d like.

We usually keep it pretty simple with cheese and pepperoni, but I can see how some peppers, fresh basil, mushrooms, a sprinkle of parmesan cheese, and even pineapple (did I just start a fight 😜) could dress these up quite nicely.

Just grab your favorite pizza toppings and go for it! You can even make these on sourdough, if you have it on hand. It’s a fun and flexible recipe you’re sure to make over and over again!

This is great recipe to make with your kids or better yet, let your kids make themselves. So so yummy!

  1. Hi, BakerMama! I am in fourth grade and I just started cooking like, on my own, with ovens and toasters and blenders, making food for myself. I’ve always looked at other pizza toast recipes, but none of them were as easy and accurate as yours! Thanks!
