Description

Soft, chewy Nutella Brownies have a crackly top, a moist center and are full of rich chocolate hazelnut flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 and 1/2 cups chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Place the butter and 1 cup chocolate chips in a large microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for about 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until the chocolate chips are melted and smooth. Whisk in the sugars and cocoa powder. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking until well combined. Stir in the vanilla. Add the flour and salt and stir until well incorporated.
  3. Add the Nutella and the remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Stir until just combined, leaving swirls of Nutella throughout the batter.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
