Description

Grab a handful of this Apple Pie Snack Mix for all things sugar and spice. Pecans, granola clusters, pretzels and apple cinnamon cereal all candy coated and hard to resist.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cinnamon Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
  • 2 cups pretzel snaps (or pretzel twists)
  • 2 cups candied pecan halves, divided
  • 1 (20 ounce) package vanilla almond bark or (16 ounce) package vanilla candy coating, melted according to package directions
  • 2 cups Apple Pie Toast Crunch cereal
  • 1 and 1/2 cups apple cinnamon granola


Instructions

  1. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Cinnamon Chex, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, pretzel snaps, and 1 cup pecans.
  3. Melt the candy coating according to package directions. Pour the melted candy coating) over the mixture. Gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated mixture out evenly onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Immediately (while the coating is still wet) sprinkle with Apple Pie Toast Crunch, Apple Granola and remaining 1 cup candied pecans evenly over the top. Lightly press them down so they stick.
  6. Allow the mix to sit until completely hardened, about 30 minutes.
  7. Once set, break into clusters and serve.
  8. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
