Our 2017 family pictures are definitely some of our most favorite and most memorable. With neutral outfits and an urban setting, it truly captured us and we will cherish these pics forever!

A huge thanks to my sweet friend and incredibly talented photographer, Madison Katlin Photography, for capturing our family so naturally and patiently.

We chose to have our pics taken in one of our favorite spots in Dallas, the Bishop Arts District. A quaint, artsy area with cute shops, great restaurants and just a laid-back, family-friendly vibe.

I purposely scheduled the pics on my birthday so everyone would hopefully cooperate and make mama “happy”! 😉 haha! Wishful thinking, right?!

Well, the boys were amazingly sweet and had fun…

But little miss priss on the other hand…

Screamed her way through the session. Whew!

Not because she was sick or tired but because she just DID NOT want to smile or even look at Madison’s camera. She’s in that stage of if it’s not her idea, it’s not happening. It became quite comical by the end of the session. Mama needed a drink! 😉

We tried everything from gummies to her favorite songs on the iPhone just to keep her from screaming “NOOOO!”

Of course, Madison still captured several great family pics but in the moment it felt like we would end up with none.

Oh, how I love this {not so little} family Brandon and I have been so blessed with.

These four bring us so much joy and pride. They’re healthy, happy and so full of life. We’re so incredibly thankful for each one of them and look forward to another amazing year of raising them and watching them grow and flourish.

We promised the kids pie at the end of our family photo session so we headed to Emporium Pies to enjoy a few slices with the freedom to dig in without worrying about getting chocolate or salted caramel all over our nice neutral clothes. 😉

We wish you and your loved ones a New Year filled with health, blessings and everything that makes you happy.

xoxo,

All of our 2017 family pictures were taken by the incredibly talented, Madison Katlin Photography.
